BC-Cell TaiRay
The LR7-72HVH uses LONGi's back-contact (BC) cell architecture with TaiRay wafer technology. Back-contact cells move all metal contacts to the rear surface of the cell, eliminating front-side busbar shading and maximising the active light-absorbing area. TaiRay wafer technology enhances high product reliability through improved crystal quality and reduced defect density. The result is a lower operating temperature compared to conventional front-contact cells, delivering more energy in hot climates and reducing thermal stress over the module's lifetime.
Up to 24.8% Efficiency
The 670W variant achieves 24.8% module efficiency — the highest in the LR7-72HVH series — enabled by the back-contact cell design that eliminates front-side shading losses entirely. The 144-cell (6×24) configuration across a 2382×1134mm module delivers peak power generation performance. With a power tolerance of 0~+3%, every module shipped meets or exceeds its rated power, ensuring predictable system yield and simplified string sizing for large commercial and utility-scale installations.
Anti-Glare Glass
The module uses high-transparency, low-reflection anti-glare coated 3.2mm tempered glass to enhance the anti-glare effect. This makes the LR7-72HVH-BGV suitable for glare-sensitive scenarios including airports, highways, residential households, and urban rooftops where conventional solar panels would cause unacceptable light reflection. The anti-glare coating maintains high light transmission to preserve module efficiency while significantly reducing specular reflection — meeting local planning requirements in glare-restricted zones.
≤ 0.35%/yr Degradation
LONGi backs the LR7-72HVH with a 30-year linear power output warranty, guaranteeing ≥ 88.85% of rated power at year 30. First-year power degradation is ≤ 1%, and years 2–30 degrade at ≤ 0.35%/year — better than the industry standard of 0.40–0.55%/year. The module is certified to withstand 5,400 Pa front-side and 2,400 Pa rear-side static loads, and passes the 25mm hailstone test at 23 m/s, ensuring long-term durability in the most demanding outdoor environments.
