1.566 MWh Nameplate — 832V / 314Ah Battery Architecture

The system is built around 314Ah LFP prismatic cells arranged in a 1P20S battery module (64V / 314Ah / 20.09kWh). Thirteen modules are connected in series to form a single 832V / 314Ah / 261kWh battery rack. Six racks are installed in the 20GP container, delivering a total nameplate energy of 1.566MWh. The 832V DC bus voltage is matched to the MPS500 PCS DC input range of 700–950V, enabling direct connection without additional DC/DC conversion. The 0.5C charge and discharge rate keeps cell stress low and maximises cycle life over the system lifetime.

MPS500 PCS — 500kW Hybrid PV & Storage Inverter

The MPS500 power conversion system delivers 500kW rated AC output (550kW peak) at 400Vac with a power factor range of 1 leading to 1 lagging (settable) and THDi <3%. It supports both grid-tied and off-grid operation — in off-grid mode, THDu is ≤1% for linear loads and ≤5% for non-linear loads, with 110% continuous and 120% 1-minute overload capacity. The integrated PV input accepts up to 825kW of PV power across 1–8 MPPT channels (250–1000V range), enabling the system to operate as a hybrid solar-plus-storage plant without a separate PV inverter. Battery voltage range is 500–950V DC.

PFAS Fire Suppression — Multi-Layer Safety System

The 20GP container integrates a comprehensive multi-layer fire safety system: a PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substance-free) fire suppression system with pipeline sprinklers, combustible gas / smoke / heat detectors, motorised blinds for compartment isolation, explosion-proof ventilation fans, and pressure relief ports. Manual/automatic switching allows the system to operate in fully automatic suppression mode or be manually controlled by operators. Sound-and-light alarms and warning signs provide early notification. An emergency stop button provides immediate system shutdown capability. This safety architecture meets the requirements of grid operators and insurance underwriters for utility-scale BESS installations.

Turnkey 20GP Container — Complete Scope of Supply

The complete scope of supply includes the 20GP container with integrated fire protection and air cooling, 6× battery clusters (832V / 314Ah / 261kWh each, 13 modules per rack with control box), 1× current box (1000A max), 1× EMS, 1× MPS500 inverter (400Vac), and all power and communication cables. The EMS communicates via RS485 and TCP/IP, with BMS communication over RS485 and CAN. The LCD touch-screen display on the MPS500 provides local monitoring and control. Certifications include EN 62109-1/-2, EN 62477-1, EN 61000-6-2/-6-4, NRS 097-2-1:2024, and ASGC.
