99% Efficiency · 12/16 MPPT
The S6-GU350K-EHV achieves 99.0% peak efficiency and 98.7% EU efficiency through a transformerless topology optimised for 1500V DC bus operation. Two hardware variants are available: the 350K-M12 with 12 MPPTs rated at 40A each (24 string inputs), and the 350K-M16 with 16 MPPTs rated at 30A each (32 string inputs). The wide MPPT voltage range of 480–1500V and a low start-up voltage of 500V extend daily power generation time at both ends of the day. A DC/AC ratio exceeding 150% is supported, allowing larger PV arrays to be connected per inverter and reducing the balance-of-system cost per watt.
IP66 · C5 · Fuse-Free
The S6-GU350K-EHV carries IP66 ingress protection and C5 anti-corrosion certification — the highest corrosion resistance class under ISO 12944, suitable for coastal, industrial, and high-humidity environments. The fuse-free design eliminates the most common maintenance task on utility string inverters: blown DC string fuses. Instead, intelligent string monitoring detects faults at the string level without any consumable components, reducing lifetime maintenance cost and eliminating the fire risk associated with fuse replacement under live DC voltage. Type II surge protection is fitted on both DC and AC sides as standard.
Night SVG Function
Unlike conventional string inverters that are idle after sunset, the S6-GU350K-EHV includes a night SVG (Static Var Generator) function that continues to provide reactive power compensation to the grid after dark. This allows the inverter to contribute to grid voltage stability and power factor correction around the clock — a feature increasingly required by grid operators for large-scale solar plants. Combined with active and reactive power control during the day, the inverter can meet the most demanding grid connection requirements without additional reactive compensation equipment.
182 & 210mm Module Ready
The S6-GU350K-EHV is designed with a wide MPPT input current rating to accommodate the higher short-circuit currents of 182mm and 210mm large-format bifacial modules — the dominant module formats in utility-scale projects today. The 350K-M12 variant accepts up to 40A per MPPT (60A short-circuit), while the 350K-M16 accepts 30A per MPPT (60A short-circuit), providing flexibility to match the inverter to the specific module and string configuration of each project. Anti-PID and integrated PID recovery functions protect module performance over the plant lifetime, particularly important for bifacial modules in humid climates.
